Vision 125: Future. Freedom. History. Global Art Exhibition Series

By Analisa Leonor Balares ~ Artist, entrepreneur, philanthropist

This year marks the beginning of a multi-year global celebration (from 2023-2026) of the Philippines’ 125 years of independence from Spain.

To commemorate this historic occasion, our founder Analisa Leonor Balares, has embarked on an equally historic, groundbreaking project to complete and exhibit 125 paintings and works of art.

Each of Analisa’s paintings and artworks will be inspired by and benefit a specially selected non-profit organization (see the list on Humansphere Foundation’s Impact Areas) as well as benefit the Humansphere Foundation and the Womensphere Global Institute.

Analisa started drawing and painting as a five-year-old-girl in the Philippines. Before having any formal education in the arts, she was mentored by her artist cousin Flordelisa Balares, and was the youngest participant in art workshops and the artists collective led by national artist Fernando Sena, hailed as the Father of the Philippine Art Workshops. She has exhibited her paintings and art work in Canada and the Philippines, and now the United States.

Art for Humanity Collective

We are bringing together a global collective of diverse artists who are passionate about uplifting humanity and saving our planet, who want to give back philanthropically through our art and creative projects, and who care about supporting fellow artists and mentoring the next generation.

FOUNDER & ARTIST

Why invest in creating art and building a community of artists who care about the world?

The world we live in has spiraled into the darkest of times: The United Nations has signaled our planet is now in “Code Red” status. We have wars between Ukraine and Russia, and Israel and Hamas, that have upended global society. We see genocides in Sudan and Myanmar, extremist oppression of women in Iran and Afghanistan, a global refugee population numbering over 110 million displaced people - just among many issues plaguing our world. All this while  our world is still healing from deaths and suffering brought on by covid.

Art has always had power to unite us all across divides. So we create art, bring together diverse artists, and build supportive communities  - to give hope and inspiration, to lift up humanity and each other, to create light and provide illumination in the darkness.
