Analisa Leonor Balares | Founder

Analisa is Founder & CEO of the Humansphere Foundation and the social enterprise Womensphere Interactive, and creator of platforms to empower diverse leaders, innovators, artists, and educators globally. In these roles, she also leads building Global Institutes in Leadership, Capital, Earth, and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics).

She is also the Creator and Curator of the Vision 125: Freedom. Future. History. ~ Global Art Exhibition Series, her contribution to the global celebration of the 125th Anniversary of Philippine Independence.

Analisa is a producer, innovator, artist, philanthropist, and humanitarian, dedicated to equality, empowering people, and creating more inclusive, more sustainable futures. For two decades, she has worked on leadership development, innovation, entrepreneurship, environmental conservation, peace-building, and advancing women & girls in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics). She has produced over 100 summits and programs in these fields.

Analisa is also a NASA Datanaut and the new Cambridge City Lead for the NASA International Space Apps Challenge, the world’s largest hackathon, where she is building an interdisciplinary community of space/planetary/environmental enthusiasts across academia, industry and civil society, who are eager to use STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts/design, mathematics) to uplift humanity, improve life on Earth, and explore the boundaries of knowledge about our planet and the Universe.

For all her work, Analisa has been recognized as a UBS Global Visionary and World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, honored as one of the 100 Most Influential Filipinas in America and one of the 100 Most Influential Filipinas in the World, and received Distinguished Leader Awards from UN Women New York, Society of Foreign Consuls NY, The State of New York, and WNBA. She is also a Madam CJ Walker Leadership Award honoree of the US National Minority Business Council.

Analisa serves among the International Gender Champions and is an Action Coalition Partner of UN Women's Generation Equality Campaign. She serves as a Commissioner of the Women's Refugee Commission; Honorary Member of Women Moving Millions; Development Committee Member of UN Women's Peace & Humanitarian Fund; and an Advisory Board Member of Music Beyond, Wearing Irish, and Infinity Capital.

Analisa previously worked in investment banking at the Goldman Sachs High Technology Group and Morgan Stanley Energy & Power Group, working on and helping execute over $100 Billion in IPOs/secondary offerings and M&A transactions. She also worked in product management, technology strategy, business development, brand management, and global marketing at Microsoft, Milestone Capital, and Broad Holdings/85 Broads (now Ellevate Network).

She is an alumna of Harvard Business School, Mount Holyoke College, Lester Pearson United World College, and the New York Film Academy. Analisa is an active member of the Harvard Alumni Association (HAA), HBS Women’s Association (HBS WA), Harvard Jewish Alumni Alliance (HJAA), Mount Holyoke College Alumnae Association, and Lester Pearson College Alumni Association, the first alumni association of the United World Colleges. She was recently elected to serve as a Steering Council Member of the Pearson College Alumni Association, where she is helping organize 50th Anniversary celebration events for the Lester Pearson United World College alumni community.
